Bikes

In Scotland, each of our coaches can carry one bicycle at a time, provided it’s fitted with a bike sock. If you’ve forgotten yours, don’t worry - our coaches have bike socks you can use.

We cannot carry bikes on our megabus Falcon service between Plymouth and Bristol.

On the following routes, we’re able to carry up to two bikes:

  • 915: Glasgow | Fort William | Skye
  • 917: Inverness | Portree
  • 961: Inverness | Ullapool

To reserve space for your bike, simply add it as an “Extra” when booking your ticket. While this isn’t mandatory, we do recommend reserving your bike space in advance to help avoid disappointment on the day of travel.

If you have a foldable bike, if this is within the standard luggage allowance dimensions once folded, this can be carried in the hold of the coach as your item of luggage.
