Pre-Booked Tickets

When you pre-book your ticket online or in the megabus app, this guarantees you space in the specific departure you've booked. 

If you want to travel earlier or later, your ticket will be valid on the same service (for example on the 900 or AIR), from the same stop to your destination, within the same calendar day. 

The QR code on your ticket will be accepted on the ticket machines automatically so you do not need to change your ticket. You will be able to travel as long as there is space on the coach for you. 

Turn Up & Go

If you're not sure if you want to pre-book your travel, you can purchase tickets from the driver when boarding. 

If you need a return journey, buying a day return tickets lets you use your return ticket at any time on the same calendar day without needing to pre-book.  

If you're returning within 28 days, a return ticket lets you use your return ticket at any time within 28 days without needing to pre-book. 

You can buy your ticket from the driver, or travel using the return part of your ticket as long as there is space on the coach. Pre-booked passengers will be allowed to board first.
